Concept Steel Creations - Wooden Gates
Wooden gates with steel work has become a favourite finish for gates in Cape Town. We partner with Mastercraft Garage Doors to create stunning high quality wooden gates for any requirement. All steel frames are custom made at Concept Steel Creations factory and at the Mastercraft Garage door factory in Strand. Mastercraft only use high quality solid Maranti hardwood and veneer. All timbers are the correct length and not finger jointed. We apply very high quality stains and sealant to provide a more durable finish.
We use Taylor Automation to fit the required remote access systems including any swing or slide motors were required.

Highlights:
Here is a gate we installed in Somerset West and that took 6 weeks to complete. This is a unique irregular designed as requested by the customer. A typical wooden gate will cost in the region of R7000 and is pretty much the same price as steel. However, wood is far more natural and pleasing on the eye and therefore more popular. Wooden gates works exceptionally well with sandstone cladding on walls and columns.
