Concept Steel Creations was founded to provide a quality service to the Somerset West and Cape Town area. We felt that we could provide a better service and product and could easily extend our artistic flair into the metal work security market.
Business is all about communication skills and people skills. These skills can not be learned by reading a book and they are key to the success of our business. A long career in the SA Police has certainly ensured that at least Johan can communicate with all but the most difficult of customers, suppliers and most important of course, our workforce.
Ray provides all the computer skills required to ensure the business preforms as well as it can by using the latest software to streamline business processes. We are presently implementing TurboCash as our accounting package and we will be promoting the work we do on TurboCash to further the good work or PDS Systems.
Our other systems are all based on IBM's Lotus Notes and Domino and helps us get on top of our many processes. After Ray works for IBM!
We are also considering using OpenCommerce running on Apache and MySQL as our extended web site. The current web site, this one, is based on a blog concept submitted by Declan Lynch to the OpenNTF forum. This Blog has been extended and altered by Able Two Ltd based in the UK. We will continue to use this web site even if we do extend the current systems.
We have many exciting future projects planned and will publish details when the time is ready.
